Move Over, Oliver Queen. Cheryl Blossom Is The CW's New Premier Vigilante Archer.

Riverdale has always been a pretty crazy show, but the penultimate episode of season 2, “Judgement Night”, really turned the dial up to eleven.   It’s packed with insane happenings, but what really stood out for me was Cheryl Blossom, who suddenly became a vigilante archer.  I couldn’t stop laughing by how ridiculous yet delightful that is.

Oh, Please. Bughead Totally Makes Sense.

When I wrote my initial thoughts on Riverdale after the first two episodes, I mused how my greatest wish for the show is to see Jughead and Betty hook up.  Well, that happened, much to my delight.  But what blew me away was how fast it got there.  I actually would have enjoyed it more if the whole thing took its time, but whatever – Riverdale friggin’ shipped Jughead and Betty!

Fan response for Bughead (the unofficial but most popular portmanteau for the couple) has been mostly ecstatic.  But there are some who are apathetic, and there are some who hated it because it’s a significant departure from Archie Comics canon.

After Two Episodes, 'Riverdale' Has Established Itself as a Must-Watch Show

I admit that I wasn’t too keen for Riverdale at first.  Despite being developed by Greg Berlanti – the man behind the DCW Universe – I had doubts.  I love my Archie Comics to be more light-hearted and fun, and Riverdale seemed to be going the route of a teen soap brimming with angst and madness.
